Homoeopathic medicine is the holistic medicine which if prescribed considering the rare, peculiar symptoms if the patient stimulates the body's own immune system to work normally. Switching directly to homoeopathy from allopathy is generally not recommended. First the doses of allopathic medicine are reduced in tapering doses and homoeopathic medicine is started parallel.

Let us first understand what is THYROID and how it functions.

Thyroid gland is situated just below the larynx and Just above the windpipe. Thyroid disease either under production (hypothyroidism) or overproduction (hyperthyroidism) of harmonies is often hereditary and is on account of a defective immune system, stress or changing harmone levels.

STEPS INVOLVED IN THYROID GLAND FUNCTION

1. First, harmone released from hypothalamus travels to your pituitary gland. This harmone signals the pituitary gland to release another harmone. Thyroid stimulating harmone,( TSH)

2. Second, TSH travels from the pituitary gland to thyroid gland. TSH triggers thyroid gland to make harmone thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3)

3. Third, thyroid harmone T3 and T4 are released from thyroid gland in to bloodstream. T3 & T4 travel throughout the body and regulate the rate at which many organ systems work.

Hypothyroidism results when the thyroid gland is underactive, it does not produce enough harmonies for body to function at right levels. Some of the symptoms of hypothyroidism includes fatigue, weight gain and intolerance to cold.

A lack of sufficient production makes the body use energy slower and it results in easy weight gain, tiredness, forgetfulness, dry coarse hairs and skin, heavy menstruation and constipation. It cause cholesterol levels to rise and triggers depression.

Over production makes the body use energy faster and causes nervousness, irritability, bulging eyes, scanty menses and warm moist palms. It causes heart rhythm irregularities and osteoporosis.

Homoeopathy is safe, scientific and effective mode of treatment. It is the mode if treatment which treats the diseases from its root cause giving a long lasting and permanent cure.

You cannot switch directly from allopathic medicine to homoeopathic medicine. For the first few days allopathic medicine are taken parallel along with the homoeopathic medicine. If we stop the medicine suddenly then you might develop some symptoms. Homoeopathic medicine if selected properly considering the mental and physical status if patient it usually results in the alteration of the deviated state of patient. After considering the individualistic characteristics symptoms of the patient along with the causative factor, a constitutional medicine is given which usually stimulates the thyroid gland to produce thyroid harmones in normal levels.

Yes, you can try to switch to homoeopathy. But sir incase of hypothyroidism , the permanant cure is not possible some how it will cure but not for all the cases. But you can try we have so much medicines in our hand on thr field of homoeopathy. I suggested you not to stop all the allopathic medicines at a time you must use homoeopathy medicines along with your daily medicines, after this you must tapering off your daily medicines (allopathic) on the basis of futher blood thyroid profile test.

Thankyou

Yes, you can switch to Homoeopathy but you shouldn't stop taking allopathic medicine because your body is addicted.

Take a good consultation from a Homoeopath.
